My little girl, Emily worried about the fairies a couple of nights ago as we walked home through the snow. She asked what the sparkles were on the ground and Toby and I told her it was where the fiaries had been dancing.
She got ever so upset, worrying that they would get too cold – that their houses would be buried by the snow and that we simply had to do something to help them.
She practically ran home where we made some little fairy igloos on our garden wall, with little tea lights inside for the fae to keep warm.
Relieved and satisfied, we were allowed to settle in for the evening, stealing quick glances out of the window to watch the caves glowing and twinkling.
